Aims

The Journal of Scientific and Technological Innovation (JSTI) is committed to advancing scientific knowledge and technological creativity by providing an international academic platform for emerging researchers. The journal specifically addresses an underserved need in academic publishing: creating a rigorous, credible, and accessible venue for secondary-level researchers whose work is typically undocumented after competitions and exhibitions conclude.

The journal seeks to:

  • Promote scientific inquiry and technological development at the foundational stage of academic research
  • Encourage innovation-driven research across science, engineering, and applied disciplines
  • Support structured scholarly communication among secondary-level researchers and supervised student authors
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and problem-solving through research-based innovation
  • Uphold research integrity, transparency, and methodological rigor adapted to student researchers
  • Provide a permanent, citable record of student research achievements

Scope

JSTI welcomes original research articles, technical reports, and innovation-based studies in the following areas (not exhaustive):

  • Experimental and Applied Sciences
  • Engineering Design and Technological Development
  • Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies
  • Environmental and Sustainability Innovation
  • Robotics, Automation, and Smart Systems

  • Science Fair and Innovation Competition-Based Research

Submissions may originate from independent student researchers or be conducted under the supervision of academic mentors. All manuscripts must demonstrate originality, methodological soundness, and ethical research practice.

What JSTI Does Not Cover

The journal does not accept submissions that:

  • Have been previously published in another peer-reviewed journal
  • Are under simultaneous review at another publication
  • Present fabricated, falsified, or plagiarized content
  • Involve research conducted without appropriate ethical oversight

Article Types

  • Original Research Articles — complete research structure with hypothesis, methodology, results, and conclusion
  • Technical Innovation Reports — engineering or technology projects with design rationale and performance evaluation
  • Experimental Study Papers — controlled or observational experimental work
  • Engineering Design Papers — system design, prototype development, and validation
  • Adapted Competition-Based Papers — science fair or competition entries reformatted to scholarly standards

JSTI 不發布的內容

JSTI 不發布以下內容：

  • 純粹的綜述文章或文獻綜述，沒有原創研究貢獻
  • 先前已在其他期刊上發表的作品
  • 不符合基本倫理研究標準的投稿
  • 無法證明原創性或明確研究貢獻的稿件
